HAVE PERFUME...WILL TRAVEL

ok...i love me some solid perfumes!...i just adore how you can tuck 'em in your purse...and get all smelly at anytime!...well...i got to rootin' through my soaping supplies...and realized that i could totally be making this stuff on my own!...

so...here's one all packaged up!...cute, huh?...the scent of this one is juicy couture...so i tried to get that "look" when decorating...

see all that perfumy goodness in there?...

it's easy peasy to make!...so let's get started!...

your going to need a lip balm base...you can use beeswax...but i get this pre-made vegan base online....fragrance oil...small slide top metal tins or any kind container you want the finished perfume in...plastic cups...i like using something that i can throw away to mix my batches in...because when it cools...it's waxy...and it's a pain to clean out...

take the metal lid of the lip solutions and pop into microwave...heat for about 4 minutes...until it all melts...

will your waiting for the microwave to beep...take all your lids off your tins...

all melted!...be careful taking it out...that jar's hot!...

i take a spoon...and put some of the melted base in a smaller cup...then add your fragrance oil and mix 'er up!...do a fair amount...you're wanting it to smell!...

now transfer to your container!...

fill 'er up to the top!...now leave alone to cool!...doesn't take too long...

here's it all done!...

all that's left is the decorating!...i cut some patterend paper 2" inches x 1" inches....then rounded the edges and adhered down...wrapped some twine around and added a charm!...

slip this tin into your handbag and now smelly goodness can be on the go!...

****check out my linky party directory on the sidebar to see where i'm linking to this week!...

I love this!!! Do you think you could use a nice perfume in place of the fragrance oil?

you could certainly use perfume!...but if it's a edt they're usually alcohol based...and it might evaporate and get lost....

great tute! what is the chance this would melt in your purse. Since it's lip balm base assuming that would happen until it was pretty hot out. Another idea would be to put this in a chap stick tube for hands free even.

Great ideas and want to try this one day!
