MAGNETS 'O LUCK

'tis the season for leprechauns and shamrocks....but most importantly GREEN!...wonder why i said that?...lol...anywho...thought it was about time to get my irish on...and do up a little st paddy's day craftie...

so...here ya go!...isn't it cute?...oh...what is it you ask?...

well...when you open 'er up...you've got a little luck!...

magnetic luck to be exact!...

how'd i do 'em?...well...i grabbed my ginormous bag of scrabble tiles that i bought off of ebay...perhaps 300 of 'em was a bit much...and some of those super stong neodymium magnets...then i figured out a word that goes along with the holiday...LUCK...so...i dug to find those tiles and then slapped a magnet on the back of each with a little super glue...bam...the craft part is done!...

now to the packaging...i attached some patterned paper to some adorable slide top metal tins that i had on hand...don't forget to round the corners on that paper before adhering down!...then top off with a festive sentiment and ribbon!...

now you can give a little luck to someone too!...

but don't just stop there!...this giftie could be done up for anything!...as long as there's a four letter word for it!...now...now...keep it clean!...

****check out my linky party directory on the sidebar to see where i'm linking to this week!...

I *love* this project. It is so cute!! I've been struggling with what to do with the whole St. Patty's day theme...and here you just whip a project up like nobody's business. I would love it if you'd link this up to my Marvelous Mess party. I will be choosing one project to be featured on my sidebar for a week!! Cute but then you always come up with the neatest projects. I also want to thank you for your cupcake holder cut file. I used them to make bath scrubby cupcakes as a little something for some coworkers birthdays ( 5 to be exact this month). It is the first time I have cut with DS. I have only used it to figure out sizes to cut in the past. You inspired me. TFS.
