PLACECARDS...SOMETHING TO CHALK ABOUT

well...with turkey day coming up...thought i'd better get started on my crafties...and the placecards were first on my list!...

this might shock some...but chalkboard paint was used for this project!...anywho...went to the recycling bin and grabbed some chipboard...aka cereal boxes...used my handy dandy cricut and create a critter cart...and cut these out at 3 1/2" inches...then on the printed side...i slapped two coats of paint...let dry...drew the names on there...and topped with a bow!....

can't get much easier than that!...and best part...you can keep changing your guest list!...lol...hope you like!...

****check out my linky party directory on the sidebar to see where i'm linking to this week!...

These are super cute! I did something similar last year for a retirement party that I hosted for my aunt. She was a teacher for 45 years and the chalk board painted place cards and signs added that extra touch.

Love you blog!

Ruthie :)
