TAKE COVER!

so...i'll admit it...at first...i was like..."why would you cover up your bug?"...ok...that didn't sound right...lol....until i saw what clare (scrappincovers) was capable of!...are kidding me?...these things rock!...and...me being different...surprise...surprise...i wanted skulls...yeah...i'm a crafter with some tude!...what are you going to do about it?...hee hee...so...i found a fabric online...she ordered it...threw it together with some other patterns...and ended up with one bug kickin' cricut cover!....so you don't have to be jealous of mine...just have her do up one of your own!...

MY PINK STAMPER CHALLENGE #11...COLORS OF THE RAINBOW

i'm so taking the easy road here...but hey...it just says to use the colors of the rainbow....didn't say i couldn't be in ribbon form!...lol...anywho...so for all you who bought the aluminum flashing by mistake for the mini magnet boards...well guess what?...found a use for 'em!...just take some heavy grit sandpaper...or take 'em in the alley to rough 'em up...then slap some chalkboard paint on there...let dry...bada bing bada boom...you got one chalboard in miniature size!...to write with...i used those bistro chalkboard markers...got 'em here!...

 

MY PINK STAMPER CHALLENGE #10...MAY DAY

so...this challenge was to incorporate some flowers into a project...well...since being on my lollipop flower pin kick...thanks alot kathy orta!...lol...grabbed another tee and made some...i added a bit 'o bling to this one...and thought the paper was fab!...

 

MY PINK STAMPER CHALLENGE #2...GETTING SCRAPPY....

well...i know national scrapbooking day was yesterday...but i was too busy having fun over at our inspiration station...that i couldn't do the my pink stamper challenges ...so i'm doing 'em today!...

from making all of my mini magnet boards...i'm having alot of scraps...and grabbed some just like the challenge said to...i ended up really liking it since i'm in love with this paper...and could never just pick one pattern...so with this i didn't have to!...just used some of the m's dollar spot magnets...goes perfectly with my k & co greenhouse paper!...

A CHALKBOARD THAT'S TUTU CUTE!...

well...this is it..project number three for over at our inspiration station...let me just say that i had a blast joining those ladies!...now make sure to stop over so you can see all the awesome national scrapbook day projects everyone came up with!...plus...there's goodies to be got!...

so...this one started out as one thing...and ended up as something totally different...was meant to display a couple of photos...but since i couldn't dig up any of my pics (that's right...i was a ballerina for almost 18 years!)...i quickly decided that some chalkboard paint would be a super cool alternative!...anywho..using a 8 X 10 canvas painted...adding some ribbon and tulle makes for one tutu cute chalkboard!...

 

HANDS OFF...THOSE ARE MY SCISSORS!...

so here's project number two for over at our inspiration station....make sure you visit!...tons of cute projects...and giveaways...did i mention that one of these will be looking for a new home?..so check it out!...

ok...i know it's kindy tricky keeping track of your stuff at swarms and crops...so what better way than to snazz up you scissors?...then...from across a room you'll be able to yell "hands off...those are my scissors!"...'cause you'll know they're yours!...lol...anywho...used these super cute stampin up sweet pea felt flowers...attached the leaf with fabric tac...used the handy dandy crop a dile to punch a 1/8" hole...grabbed an eyelet and set it...then...got these beaded keychains in the leather section at m's...how perfect to attach the flower with?...now you got some scissors with as much style as you!...

 

ON THE GOOD PIN LOLLIPOP...

so...here's the first project i did for over at our inspiration station...make sure to check out all the great projects and giveaways going on over there!...did i mention that the bottom pin needs a home?...well...check it out!...

took the lollipop flower idea and give it a spin...had some sleeves from a tee that i had cut off (wanted to show off my guns...lol) and loved the material...ended up grabbing my sizzix circles #2 die and cut out 2 sets...layered 'em on top of each other...doing the off center thing...took a thread and needle...and tacked all the layers together...found a cute button and slapped 'er on there..cut a 1" circle out of chipboard (aka cereal box) and super glued to the flower...then super glued a tack pin to the circle...and taa dah!...this super cute flower pin...but you could leave the pin off...and have one heck of a cute embellie!...
