SAVE MY SPOT FOR ME!...

so...i love me some chalkboard paint...and when i saw this idea on not so idle hands , i just had to try it!...i think it's super cool that she made tags too!...how perfect for gifts...plus...since they're reuseable....maybe you'll get 'em back the next year!...lol...but this a great way to use up some of those scraps...and those old cereal boxes!...

HERE FISHY FISHY!...

so one day i was thinking...what would be a great hair accessory?...and of course....fish came to mind!...yeah...that's how my mind works!...lol...

how to make this little guy you ask?...i tie the ribbon in a knot...to form the head and tail fins...then attach the other fins...add an eye...googly of course!...and slap on a barrette blank...and there you!...to package...i used my everyday paper doll cricut cart...first used the markers...then cut!...this just makes me giggle...plus...since it's a friday during lent...it's a meat free craft!...lol...

WHILE I'M AT IT...HERE'S ANOTHER!...

went to a baby shower this past weekend...and this is what came along with me...(there's also a diaper cake that i made too...but i'm not showing that until next week)...the card is totally scraplifted...it was just too cute...i couldn't pass it up...then i made a matching gift card box...boring gift, but snazzy packaging...









ok...here's a sneak peek of the diaper cake topper...but that's all ya get for now...insert evil laugh here...

up until now...i really haven't posted too many paper crafts...oh wait...i did throw in the princess card...lol...anywho...so...i thought i'd show off a card...just to prove that i can do more than just roll up socks and such!...lol...



this little guy is cut from the paisley cricut cart...if you don't have this cart...you need to get it!...such cute images and great great phrases...speaking of phrases...i totally forgot to take a pic of the inside...(i'll have to remember that in the future)...but it said "just be you"...the perfect sentiment for a zebra driving a car...lol...

THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR DESSERT!...

if you haven't figured out by now...i like to take pretty ordinary things...and turning then into something with some pizzazz...you know...give it that greenbean flair...so here's some more sweet treats for ya...

these are handtowels swirled to look like a swiss and pumpkin roll...complete with a strawberry magnet on top!...




and these are some washcloth cake slices...and they come with either a blackberry or raspberry magnet...




you know...i'm figuring that since i'm a saltaholic...maybe this is my way of getting a sugar fix...hee hee...

ZIPPERS AREN'T JUST FOR KEEPING YOUR PANTS ON...

saw a vid on martha stewart on the coolest thing to do with zippers...she made 'em into headbands, pins, and hair accessories...but i thought they'd be perfect for packaging...like on gifts or bags...




but then...my little mind start working and i wanted to figure out how they could really look like flowers...with a little thread and alot of patience...this is what i came up with...





now don't go tearing up your clothes for zippers..lol...ebay has tons to choose from!...

CHOCO COVERED MARSHMALLOWS...THE SEQUEL

so...here's another choco covered marshmallow creation...these are my s'mores on a stick...you take a lollipop stick...put 4 marshmallows on it...then cover with the choco candymelt...then coat with crushed up graham cracker crumbs...they're packaged in the 10" x 3" baggies...made the "on a stick" in word and printed on sticker paper...then used a 1 3/4" punch...and finished it up with the smores stamp from the under the stars stampin up set...
