CHOCO COVERED MARSHMALLOWS...THE SEQUEL

so...here's another choco covered marshmallow creation...these are my s'mores on a stick...you take a lollipop stick...put 4 marshmallows on it...then cover with the choco candymelt...then coat with crushed up graham cracker crumbs...they're packaged in the 10" x 3" baggies...made the "on a stick" in word and printed on sticker paper...then used a 1 3/4" punch...and finished it up with the smores stamp from the under the stars stampin up set...

ever since the hubs got me the storefront cart...i've been slapping the bughead on everything!...so...here's a couple of "best of bughead" projects!...

my clock...because it bughead o'clock somewhere...

Photobucket

here's some bookmarks made with jumbo paper clips...

and lastly...i thought that these glass door jetmax cubes were only an urban legend...until the hubs and his keen eye spotted these...so...had to jazz 'em up a bit with a little glass etching...

PRINCESS PARTY CARD...

my niece just turned one...and the theme of the party was princess...sooo...how convenient that i have the once upon a princess cart?...anywho...since i have no skills in design studio...had to do a swing card...and this is what i came up with...although you might not be able to tell in the pic...there is some pop dotting and stickling going on!...

HOW DID I MAKE THOSE YUMMY MARSHMALLOWS?

believe or not...i don't eat any of my marshmallows...why you ask?...well i hope your sitting down...but the answer is...I HATE CHOCOLATE!...that's right...so say what you want about me!...it's nothing i haven't heard already!...lol...although fyi...i'm the normal one and everyone else is weird!....hee hee...

these are so simple to make!...here's what i do...i love using the candy melt that's already in a tray...but using the wilton candy melts would be fine as well...i find these in the baking section...you can get either choco or vanilla...

this one's from target...

and this ones' food lion...

i switch off using the chocolate and the vanilla types...both are huge hits!...now...you'll need the large (normal) size marshmallows...the plain are awesome...but when i can find the strawberry type...i jump on those!...if using the candy melt trays...you can get about 2 bags from one tray package...that's about 75 to 100 marshmallows...

i first put a couple of pieces of wax paper on the counter...then i melt choco in microwave...i do 2 minutes at 50% first time...then i go in 1 minute increments at 50% until melted...be really careful not to overheat and scorch!...then i take a marshmallow and dip the bottom in the choco...let alot of the excess drip off...and put on the wax paper...continue until either you run out of marshmallows or run out of choco...to do the drizzles over the top...i put a little bit of the melted chocolate into a plastic baggie...snip a tiny...and i mean tiny bit off the corner...and use like a piping bag...if using the wilton candy melts (chips)...i just put a little handful of the unmelted chips in a baggie...put in the micro until melted...and do the same thing...and that's it!...just let the choco harden...which isn't long at all!...and there you go!...some gourmet goodies!...

for packaging...this was a plastic jar that i got at target...but i've picked 'em up at walmart before too...or...just put in the cello goodie bags!...

enjoy!...

NOW THIS ISN'T A CALORIE FREE SWEET LIKE MY OTHERS...

so...the mother in law's bday was last week...and wanted to give her a little something but with big impact...and this is what i came up with...some choco covered strawberry marshmallows...in a target container...snazzed it up with the yummy stampin up set...and cut the tag from once upon a princess cricut cart...hope you like!...

RECIPE FOR FUZZY SOCK CUPCAKES...

ok...so maybe you're wondering how i did the little cupcakes...and...i i guess i'll be nice enough to share...hee hee...

here's the supplies you need...fuzzy socks...red pom pom (that's the cherry)...rubber bands (the smaller the better)...and a cupcake wrapper cut at 4"...i used the cricut easter mini cart...but i know there's a couple of cut files floating around!...check rachie's scrapspot...she's got tons of 'em!...all different sizes!...

Photobucket

with the socks right on top of each other...and the heel pointing up...start at the toe and roll...

Photobucket

just keep rolling...

Photobucket

still rolling...make sure to keep the bottom edge as straight at you can...

Photobucket

finished rolling...place rubber band around...sorta near the bottom...i know i had 2 rubber bands in the supply pics....but i only used one...

Photobucket

pull up the center a bit...just to give it a little bit more shape...

Photobucket

then i just adjust to make more of a "frosting look"...

Photobucket

tuck the pom pom in the center of roll...

Photobucket

you don't have to put anything in the bottom...it all stays in there!...that's another reason why when i'm rolling i keep the bottom straight...so it has a flat bottom...

Photobucket

and there you go!...one cutie patootie cupcake!...

Photobucket

if you want to gift wrap...you can grab a piece of cellophone...gather up and tie with a ribbon...like this little guy...

Photobucket

hope this helps...enjoy!...
