READY FOR A SN"OAP"BALL FIGHT?

so...joy over at joy's life asked me to join along in a thank you gift blog hop....and of course i said yes!...there's a ton of us gals that are sharing our ideas for some goodies for those special people in our lives!...so when you've had your fill of the crafterole...head on over to cricut my way and see what denise has up her creative sleeve!...but don't go without seeing what i gots to offer first!...lol...

'tis the season for the white stuff!...no...i'm not talking dandruff...i'm talking snow!...but not everyone's as lucky as us in west virginia to get it...so...i've thought up a little something for you warm weather gals!....how about some sn"oap"balls?...yeah...i totally made up that word!...lol...

you'll need to grab a grater and some soap...now...this is stuff that i melted and scented myself...but you could totally do this with store bought soap!...

just start grating!...don't get your fingers in there...we don't want bloody snowballs!...

this is what 3 bars of soap looks like all grated....

these are the leftover bits that were too tiny to shred....don't throw 'em out!....this will be the start of your sn"oap"ball....

just press and roll into a small ball...

now...you'll want to grab some of the shredded soap...

add that to your ball and start pressing and forming a bigger ball...the soap that i used had some moisture in it...so it adhered great...but if the flakes are a little dry...just wet your hands...and then staring forming...

see...it got bigger!...

grab some more shredded soap...and add that to your exsisting ball...

got bigger!...are you seeing a pattern here?...lol...

let's grab one more handful...you know what do with it!...

wowser...look at that sn"oap"ball!...now you'll want to set it aside and let harden for a while!...

when all done...you can package 'er up!...i did up these little clear boxes and topped off with some cutie snowman ribbon...now how much fun are these?...

well...thanks for hopping by!...hope you had fun over here at the crafterole!...and make sure you go see denise over at cricut my way!...

****check out my linky party directory on the sidebar to see where i'm linking to this week!...

  77. This morning we were on the way to church and DH said, "Well, I checked your post this morning and everything looks good". He does this for me to make sure my post went up like it was supposed to because he gets up earlier than I do. Then he said, "All the projects look great! Somebody made Snoapballs." I said, "Snowballs?" He said, "No, snoapballs. They're great...they're made out of..." I interrupted. "They're made out of soap and it was Greenbean, right? That's so cute!!" I couldn't wait to get back and see your Snoapballs. :) They are adorable, as usual!
