BLUE 42...BLUE 42...HUT...HUT

so...for some reason...at back to school time...i decided to stock up on crayons....no particular reason why...just because...well...when piling 'em into my cart...i kept thinking..."wow...a quarter a pack"...somehow that turned into quarterback...and then i got to thinking about a football mold i have...yeah...that's how my brain works...lol...

anywho...found this how to on martha about making your own crayons...now...i did a couple things different...since i'm impatient...i cranked the oven up to 350...and it only took about 10 minutes...also...i used a silicone mold...popped right out!...finally...my ocd would not allow me to mix colors...so i kept 'em all the same...

how perfect would these be for party favors?...or way a keep the little ones occupied during the super bowl?...what about year end gifties for youth football?...whatever you make 'em for...they'll get the crowd cheering!...

****check out my linky party directory on the sidebar to see where i'm linking to this week!...

  3. Too cute! I have some silicone pans that I picked up at Target in the dollar section a few years ago that I have never used for anything. They are snowflakes and snowmen, I believe, but they have WAY too much detail. I could never think of anything to bake in them. I'm a little OCD, too, so I won't be mixing my colors... lol.

  6. I have made crayons before with the old broken pieces from my kids' multiple shoeboxes full of crayons...I have done the silicone in a star shape, but I really love the footballs
